June 6, 2008, Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, supported by Florida Congressman Robert Wexler, is calling for the impeachment of President Bush. The former presidential candidate and Ohio congressman accuses the president of misleading the American public into the Iraq war. The resolution contains thirty-five articles, including: Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false cause for war against Iraq, providing immunity for criminal contractors in Iraq, imprisoning children, creating secret laws, and spying on American citizens without a court ordered warrant in violation of the law and the 4th amendment. Winter-Dawn McNamer will join 35 American and Iraqi students in Amman, Jordan, this summer to discuss strategies on Iraq representing the aspirations of young people from the two countries.

Called the Youth Initiative for Progress in Iraq, the 11-day gathering will culminate in a proposed policy statement to international leaders.
