Dans son édition datée du 13 août, le magazine américain New Yorker propose une plongée dans ces sites secrets où, malgré les dénégations officielles, la torture semble avoir été pratiquée à grande échelle et de façon systématique. La journaliste, Jane Mayer, appuie son enquête sur un rapport confidentiel du Comité international de la Croix-Rouge (CICR), qui a eu accès aux témoignages de quinze suspects désormais détenus à Guantanamo.

Remarquez que quatre sur cinq des membres permanents du ‘Conseil de sécurité’ des Nations Unies sont membres du G8. Remarquons surtout que ces membres permanents du ‘Conseil de sécurité’ sont les plus grands fournisseurs d’armes au monde.

Note that four of the five permanent members of the United Nations ‘Security Council’ are members of the G8. Let us mostly notice that these permanent members of the ‘Security Council’ are the greatest purveyors of weaponry worldwide.
